Anthony F. Parnell Anthony F. Parnell, 52, of Roosevelt Street, Edwardsville and formerly of Forty Fort Borough, died Thursday at home. He was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., Dec. 24, 1955, a son of the late Andrew F. Parnell Sr. and the late Florence E. Mossuto Parnell. He completed his junior year at Wyoming Valley West and transferred to Westside Area Vocational Technical School, graduating in 1975. He continued his education four years thereafter, achieving diplomas in both plumbing and heating and machine shop tool and die. Mr. Parnell was employed by the municipality of Forty Fort Borough for many years in the department of public works as a utility person, and also served as a dispatcher for police, ambulance and fire personnel with the responsibilities as paid fire truck driver/apparatus operator. His long years of employment resulted in an early retirement due to work related injuries. Anthony was a certified agent by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania under Act 235 and is also a life member of the V.F.W., Post 283. Anthony was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was a former member of Holyname Church, Swoyersville. Surviving is his 12-year-old daughter, Casey Marie Parnell; brothers, Andrew F. Parnell Jr., Hunlock Creek, Corliss L. Klinefelter of Orange Park, John L. Klinefelter, Joe L. Klinefelter, Florida, Rick Klinefelter, Wilkes-Barre; sisters, Anna M. Ide Chamberly, Kingston, Linda Sue of New York; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Private services at the convenience of the family from the Hugh B. Hughes & Son, Inc., Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort.
